In recognition of and appreciation for Sadiqua's decades of service to the clients and staff of BRC

BRC is proud to announce the renaming of the Los Vecinos Apartments at 93 Pitt Street in New York City to Sadiqua Khabir House.  BRC staff and leadership, along with Sadiqua and her family, celebrated the renaming with a plaque unveiling on June 27, 2018.

Sadiqua retired in September 2017 having served BRC for over 30 years, first as a supervisor and director of BRC's Metropolitan Apartment Program, later as an Associate Director, a Deputy Executive Director, and most recently Vice President for Treatment and Housing Services.

The Hallmarks of Sadiqua's career include her dedication and compassion that was always focused on providing the best possible care to the thousands of mentally ill, chemically addicted and homeless individuals in BRC programs.
