2019 Champions Benefit Sponsor Information

Help BRC's life saving programs By Sponsoring or Donating Auction Items For This Amazing Event

The BRC Leadership Council is a diverse group of young professionals who support BRC—one of New York City’s leading nonprofit organizations offering caring and effective housing and services to vulnerable New Yorkers. Our annual fundraiser, The Champions Benefit, brings like-minded philanthropists together to raise funds and awareness for homeless services.

There are more than 100,000 people living in shelters and more than 3,000 living unsheltered in New York City. BRC offers 30 programs throughout NYC including unsheltered outreach, safe haven and shelters, mental, physical health and addiction services, work force development, art therapy, and supportive housing to close to 10,000 individuals a year. You can join the BRC Leadership Council to raise critical funds to support BRC’s mission and vital programs and services. To date, the BRC Leadership Council Champions Benefit has raised more than $400,000 to support the organization, helping BRC offer a hand UP to thousands of people each year.

Help BRC make an impact in the lives of those in need, while distinguishing your company and brand for its compassion and willingness to give back to the community. In the lead up to the Champions Benefit, planned promotional activities are undertaken to ensure that the event is marketed to the right audience. These activities provide sponsors and in-kind donors with exposure to thousands of young professionals in the greater New York area. Logo placement on marketing collateral, including email invitation, website and other sponsorship benefits such as signage and networking opportunities at the event, will see sponsors achieve exposure to a targeted audience.

From the Desk of Muzzy

Rather than create wealth for private developers, could we use the same shelter contract to create housing for low-income people?
