WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO JOIN BRC'S BOARD?
When I moved to the East Village, in 2007, I was looking to volunteer in my neighborhood. I saw a number of BRC buildings around the neighborhood, so I looked up BRC and decided to volunteer. What I found was an amazing organization whose reach and affects spanned far beyond the East Village and helped thousands of New Yorkers. I joined the BRC board after a number of years serving on the Junior Board in order to become more involved in BRC.

IF BRC WERE TO DISAPPEAR TOMORROW, WHAT WOULD BE THE BIGGEST LOSS?
BRC provides so many services to people in need in NYC; from housing, to mental health services, to addiction treatments. NYC would also lose a great innovator in the space. BRC is leading the way with projects such as Landing Road, which will combine low income housing and transitional housing.
