Last night, BRC gathered with supporters, clients, alumni, and staff at our 7th annual gala, to celebrate our work and the people we serve, and to honor Richard Swanson, who has worked tirelessly on behalf of BRC as a long-time Board Director.
At the gala, attendees met the people who benefit from your generosity and support, which helps provide homeless men and women the opportunity to reclaim lives lost to poverty, addiction, and illness. And the talented Ali Stroker shared her motto of "making your limitations your opportunity" through an incredible performance.
Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, we raised over $1,100,000, including $160,000 for our Horizons scholarships, which will provide 64 men and women the opportunity to participate in BRC's highly effective Workforce Development Program.
For those of you who were able to attend or donate, thank you! For those of you unable to attend this year, it's never too late to show your support. Thank you again to all who attended!
