On Tuesday, May 2nd, BRC will conclude the final construction closing of our acquired property at 3966 Tenth Avenue. The site will become a 32,000 GSF, 4 story, state of the art, 116 bed transitional housing program. The property will also include a Sacred Site Memorial Space which will permanently memorialize the history of the site as the location of an enslaved African burial ground, as well as a sacred ceremonial location of the Lenape indigenous peoples.
BRC will begin construction on the site within a couple of weeks of that closing. BRC will maintain communication on progress and any major developments or milestones in the construction and eventual opening of the site.
