On Saturday, May 16, 2026 BRC will host a guided open house at the Inwood Sacred Site, with refreshments, history, and a first look at a future memorial honoring the enslaved Africans and Lenape Tribe members who were once buried there. The primary portion of the program will be from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required. Register Here. Due to the nature of the site, space will be primarily standing room.
