On November 4th, 2024, Nicole Clare, Chief Real Estate Development Officer, and Kyle Jeremiah, Director of External Affairs, delivered an engaging presentation to 40 students in Hunter College’s Urban Economics BA course, taught by Bipasha Chatterjee.
The course explores socioeconomic challenges in urban settings, with a focus this semester on strategies to address homelessness. Nicole’s presentation highlighted BRC’s innovative approach to increasing affordable housing supply and introduced financing mechanisms like “cross-subsidy” under BRC’s Homestretch Innovation. Kyle provided critical insights into overcoming resistance to housing initiatives, stressing the importance of local engagement for long-term success.
“It was a privilege to have Nicole M. Clare, Chief Real Estate Development Officer and Kyle Jeremiah, Director of External Affairs from BRC speak at Hunter College,” Professor Chatterjee said. Noting that the presentation greatly benefited the students, she added, “We look forward to future engagements with BRC.”

As a current PhD student juggling my own research and a part-time role at Academic Editors, I really resonated with BRC’s initiative to share expertise with Hunter College Urban Economics students. Back in my college days, I faced a lot of struggles with academic challenges, deadlines, and navigating resources, which made me truly conscious about my studies and the value of support. Now, assisting students with their academic work, including offering guidance on things like cheap essay editing, I understand how transformative timely mentorship and practical insights can be. It’s inspiring to see organizations like BRC bridging the gap between theory and real-world application, helping students gain confidence and clarity in their field.
“Great initiative! Real-world insights like this empower future urban economists.” https://futbollibre.ws/
This collaboration sounds valuable, especially giving students real-world exposure to urban economics. Partnerships like this help bridge theory and practice. I’m also preparing for aptitude-style exams and came across the edpt practice test. Does practicing beforehand actually help with time management?
Hands-on learning opportunities like this are crucial for academic growth. About exam prep, an edpt practice test is often helpful because it trains you to work under time pressure. Many test takers say familiarity with the question style improves both speed and confidence during the actual exam.
What a fantastic initiative, Dashmetry! Sharing real-world insights with students is invaluable. Urban economics has so many layers, and your expertise really enriches their understanding. Keep up the great work!
